SUMMARY OF FACTS
The deceased was the wife of the appellant. She gave birth to a child whom he named Braimoh. Later two women friends of the deceased came to greet her and saluted her as “Mama Deinde”. The man became suspicious about the paternity of the child and questioned his wife. He was not satisfied with her explanation and between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. he got hold of his gun and shot the wife in her sleep.
