The Appellants applied to the Registrar of Trade Unions to be registered as The Nigerian Unified Teaching Service Workers Union and their application was refused on the ground that a registered trade union- the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions which fulfills and on the Register of Trade Unions the proposed role of the applicants is already in existence, he appellants attacked before the courts below and this court as a breach of their fundamental right entrenched in Section 37 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1979
