SUMMARY OF FACTS
This is an appeal from the judgment of the trial court in which the plaintiffs in their capacity as senior Ijagbo traditional heads responsible for the traditional appointment of the Bara of Ijagbo otherwise known as the village head of Ijagbo for themselves, jointly and severally and as the lawful customary representatives of Ijagbo, claimed against the defendants. The learned trial Judge upheld the plaintiffs claims.
HELD
The appeal was dismissed.
ISSUES
1. That the 4th defendant was a chief and that the court has no jurisdiction to entertain the suit.
2. There is no cause of action disclosed by the statement of claim before the trial court, since a mere dispute about honor or dignity does not ground a justiciable dispute
