SUMMARY OF FACTS
The Accused now appellant was alleged to have committed murder, he made confessional statements to the police, led the police to the stream where the deceased corpse was discovered. The trial judge found him guilty, convicted and sentenced him to death for murder of Merina Joshua. This appeal is against his conviction and sentence by the trial court.
HELD
There was overwhelming evidence before the trial court to sustain the conviction of the appellant and sentence to death for intentional murder of the deceased, and the defences of self defence and provocation are not open to the appellant in the circumstance. The appeal was dismissed summarily for lacking merit.
