AREA(S) OF LAW
SUMMARY OF FACTS
The conveyance of the land in dispute was made to the 4th appellant in a deed in which the names of some principal members of the family were forged. The land was subsequently conveyed to the respondent. The trial court admitted the criminal proceedings at which the person who forged the names was convicted.
HELD
The court held that apart from the wrongly admitted criminal proceedings, there were other credible, uncontradicted evidence to support the plaintiff/respondents claim. ?
ISSUES
1. Did the respondent impeach the appellant’s conveyance, which was earlier in time by credible and admissible evidence? 2. Whether or not the subsidiary issues raised by the appellant before the Court of Appeal are competent, particularly the Wrongful admission of Exhibit “F”.?
