SUMMARY OF FACTS
The Appellant in a statement to the police confessed to pouring kerosene on the deceased and also lighting a match on the deceased which led to the death of the deceased and the deceased son. In his evidence in court however, he denied pouring Kerosene on the deceased and that the burns on the deceased was due to an accident that occurred during a quarrel they had.
HELD
The Supreme Court held that the facts of the case proved the offence of murder and that the appellant was rightly convicted. The Appeal was dismissed.
