SUMMARY OF FACTS

The appellant, a medical doctor was alleged to have demanded money from a patient in order to treat him. The patients was assisted by his friend who interpretes between English and Hausa. He was convicted by the trial court of the offence charged.


HELD


The court affirmed the conviction and held that the testimony of the interpreter being the only admissible testimony is good enough to convict the appellant
