The respondent commenced action against the appellant for outstanding on work done in the Lagos high court and effected service through its liaison office in Lagos.
HELD
The court held that the Appellants even though it had a liaison office in lagos could not be held to reside or carry on business in Lagos, consequently the Lagos State High Court did not have jurisdiction to entertain the suit.
ISSUES
Whether the Court below was right to have held that the appellants were properly served, and secondly, that the trial Court had the jurisdiction to determine the case.
