It is said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. If what you have been doing has only been bringing in so much in results, then it is time to change and do something more innovative.  In any given industry, you find firms doing the same thing everybody else is doing and getting the same industry-standard results. Doing what everybody else is doing will not stand you out. Applying the same growth strategies will only give you industry base results. What made them an “overnight” success that disrupted deliveries? Where did they get the idea to transform their industry? The banking sector.  A totally unrelated field you may say, but that is where the breakthrough innovation came from. Federal Express (FedEx) applied the banking industry’s method of clearing cheques overnight to the overnight delivery of packages. It totally transformed their business.
