SUMMARY OF FACTS
The Respondent brought an application at the Lagos State High Court for appointment of sole arbitrator. The Appellant then filed a Notice of Preliminary Objection challenging the jurisdiction of the court to entertain matters bordering on companies incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act,1990. The Notice was dismissed. An appeal to the Court of Appeal was also dismissed. Hence this present appeal.
